My current book I'm reading is Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. Well I got this book from Mrs.Olson and it is a book we are required to read. George and Lennie are the two main characters of this book. George is a smart young man, and lennie is a big, mentally challenged man. These 2 boys try to live there life from escaping from "Weed" which is a camp they were living at. They try to find jobs and stay away from the weed guards. this is a really good book, so far. I like it alot.

A) I am reading stuck in the 70's by d.l. garfinkle. This book talks about a boy who is in the 1970's and has one best friend. he then one morning wakes up at 3:00 AM and finds a naked drunk teenager in his bath tub. she said she is scared and all, she then said she was from the year 2009 and the boy said this is 1978. So she freaks out and he takes her to school the next day, so she can live in 1978. B) When the girl went to school everyone thought she was hot. C) When she tries to fall asleep in the bath tub to go back to 2009, and the boys mom finds her.

Characters: Lennie: Lennie is a mentally retarded man who was living with his aunt clara until she died. He is a middle aged man who is really strong and really tall. George:George is a short man who is running around with Lennie and has been since they were little. He has medium length hair and has an Accent. He is Very smart and a good worker. Curley: Curley is the son of the man that George and Lennie are working for. he is a short,strong man who likes to fight, he was once a boxer and fought alot of people. he likes to fight bigger men. Curleys wife: she is a flirt who likes to be all over men when curley is not around. she is beautiful and has long brown hair.
Plot: This book is about the 2 men who are living in the times of the great depression, Lennie who is mentally retarded has left his Aunt Clara and is now running around with George who has know Lennie since they were little. George and Lennie were in a camp called "weed" to where they worked and lived. But Lennie did something really dumb which got them in trouble and caused them to get ran/chased out of Weed. They then try looking for jobs and they find one about 6 miles away from where they are staying. They then start working there and get to sleep in a bunkhouse. There is a old man who has an old stinky dog and it stinks up the whole bunkhouse.
Rating: (4) I chose (4) because i really liked the book but some of it was pretty hard to read since this was based on an old time. This book was good and not good. I liked it because it related to old cowboy times to me for some reason, and i didnt like it because George had to Kill Lennie at the end because of what he did to Curley's wife.

I have just started reading Marley and Me by John grogan. there are 2 characters so far john and jenny who are young and live together.

hey yal.Im still reading Marley and Me by John Grogan, Marley has gotten older and has been so fiesty lately. They are trying to keep marley in shape so he doesn't get so overweight.
5/23/11 I just started reading Harry Potter and the sorcerers stone by J.K. Rowling.
Harrys birthday just happened. He lives with his aunt and uncle which they have a son who is really rude and harry doesn't like him. Hagrad is a big old hairy man that works at hogwarts and he wants harry to come to hogwarts and become a student. this is all i really have read.
